ESPN The Magazine presents Marvel Comics’ pantheon of heroes in a way they have never been seen before – in a special insert inside the magazine’s annual BodyIssue on newsstands Friday, July 10th. The custom edition, entitled The Body Issue: Super Heroes Edition will feature Iron Man, She-Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, Medusa, Hulk, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
ESPN.com will also offer fans an exclusive digital sketch book featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of these powerful images. The exclusive digital sketch book will show how ESPN & Marvel Comics, along with some of the premier artistic talents in the world, worked collaboratively honoring and illustrating the male and female form through detailed anatomical drawings. Out of the current Secret Wars event I think Civil War is one of the more eagerly anticipated mini-series. Marvel have released a preview which is due in stores 1st July.
Marvel have released a preview for the upcoming issue of Secret Wars – Armor Wars #2.
During Marvel’s online chat with new Invincible Iron Man creative team Brian Bendis and David Marquez, David revealed his concept designs for the new suit:
Some new features include new hexagonal scales that form into new shapes and I like the face plate opening from the middle too.
“When Brian and I first started talking about with Tom, we wanted to make the armor new and fresh, and make it able to adapt to any situation. With slimming it down…technology gets less bulky over time. We wanted it to be sleek. It’s opportunity for me and other artists to be creative with a basic design.” – David Marquez
We also learnt that Tony has put a new A.I. in the suit:
The new A.I. is quite sassy; Tony designed it to challenge him intellectually and morally.” – Brian Bendis

Drone manufacturer DJI have teamed up with Marvel to produce an exclusive digital Iron Man comic to help promote their new Phantom 3 Drone at this years SDCC 2015. The digital comic can be read here which sees Iron Man going up against M.O.D.O.K. and the rest of A.I.M.
